Lemon Yellow Diamond Discus Fish are yellow and are as clean as the brilliant salt water, Yellow Tangs. Bred for their superior round body and clean appearance, they are a bold addition to your aquarium. Yellow discus fish, like red ones, always display stunning beauty and contrast one to another in the tank. This yellow discus fish strain will replace all others. There are no black bars or freckles, which is the reason they are so bright. To maximize natural yellow color, a diet of frozen bloodworms is recommended. Typical adult size for the Lemon Yellow Diamond Discus fish is 7 inches. They are an integral piece of any discus fish collection.
Discus fish are native to the slow and warm tropical waters of the Amazon River. They eat a variety of fresh water shrimp, worms, insects, and aquatic vegetation. In the wild, discus fish colors are limited to a few varieties which are earth tone in color. This helps to protect them from predators by allowing them to blend into their natural habitat. Through selective cross breeding, tank raised discus fish are now available to the hobbyist in a wide range of vivid colors, like the Lemon Yellow Diamond Discus Fish.

Mac's discus are the most colorful, active, and healthy discus I have ever seen. I've been in the hobby for close to 15 years and have never seen discus of such high quality in person. I ordered 11 fish, one which was a Yellow Diamond, and every one is absolutely beautiful!! 2 of the fish died, due to a handling issue during shipping that caused their bags to break, and Steve (Mac) refunded one fish and replaced the other. The quality of the fish and Steve's service is unbeatable. If you are even thinking about purchasing from him, DO IT! You will be very happy you did.

Arrived in great condition. Good yellow color with red eyes. Fins even and nicely developed. Nice round eyes. Have ordered multiple times and always a great result. I live in the Philadelphia area and have never had any problems with delivery. Good communication and tracking info.
