Red Spotted Green Discus Fish F-2, by selecting the most colorful and spotted, Red Spot Green Discus Fish, came the second generation (F-2). This discus fish was tank raised so the strain became more colorful with each generation over the wild RSG. I believe that nature would not allow such colorful fish in the wild as they would be too flashy and therefore fish bait for larger predators. In captivity we can select for more color and fancy design and continue to breed these until the strain becomes fixed.
