Description
White Butterfly Discus Fish boast a pinkish hue over a creamy white body. As they grow, the body fills in with the white color, and at less than 18 months are 95 percent solid. This strain is very round, but lacks the high fin that some of the other strains commonly have. Their eye color is between orange and red, which makes the eye stand out against the rest of the body’s color. Black has been bred out of the White Butterfly Discus, making it a very clean. In a green planted aquarium this discus fish stands out in grand beauty.
Discus fish are native to the slow and warm tropical waters of the Amazon River. They eat a variety of fresh water shrimp, worms, insects, and aquatic vegetation. In the wild, discus fish colors are limited to a few varieties which are earth tone in color. This helps to protect them from predators by allowing them to blend into their natural habitat. Through selective cross breeding, tank raised discus fish are now available to the hobbyist in a wide range of vivid colors, like the White Butterfly Discus Fish.

Beautiful fish
My white butterfly is amazing. Such amazing colors and it's still a juvie. Total attention hog. Which is a really great thing. I got this fish plus one of the six fish deals. They're all amazing. This is one of my favorites though.

The Best Discus Store
All the fish I have bought from Mac's have been great. He is the only person I will buy discus from and I have never been disappointed. The white butterfly I received from him is spectacular. This has been my 4th time buying fish from him and I'll continue to buy my discus from this store.

Love my White Butterfly
I bought this fish from Mac’s almost a year ago and was hesitant as to whether it would turn into the fish as he has pictured. Steve assured me that as the fish grew it’s colors would fill in and that I would not be disappointed with in a year. Mac’s was right on, today this fish is the best in my collection. Great Discus Thank You!
