Discus fish are native to the slow and warm tropical waters of the Amazon River. They eat a variety of freshwater shrimp, worms, insects, and aquatic vegetation. In the wild, discus fish colors are limited to a few varieties which are earth tone in color. This helps to protect them from predators by allowing them to blend into their natural habitat. Through selective cross breeding, tank raised discus fish are now available to the hobbyist in a wide range of vivid colors.

New Arrivals
3 weeks since the new arrivals (mixed variety 6 pack) arrived. All the fish arrived safe and healthy and after a typical acclimatization, have settled into the community tank really well. All are active and taking a variety of foods. One likes to hang out in a cave overnight - a behavior I have never seen in a discus before. Great experience with Steve would recommend to anyone wanting to get into the world of discus or returning to it as I was!

I received my order!!! I want to say thank you very very much! The fish came in alive and healthy. They are still in a little shock but have been swimming all around my tank exploring. They are beautiful and I am 100% happy with the fish you guys picked out!

They have only been with me for 12 days and they have been begging me for food since day 2. These are the human friendliest discus I have ever seen. Follow Steves advice and ask him any questions you might have, beginner or experienced you will never find healthier happier discus anywhere.
